White People Racist Against White People?

I’ve purposely stayed away from following politics in-depth because it can consume a lot of time that I just don’t have. However, with the recent birth certificate news, more people continue to assert that everyone that hasn’t been happy with President Obama’s response (or lack thereof) is a ‘racist’. Note: it is interesting that everyone that has alluded to or flat out called me ‘racist’ has been white.

President Obama’s supporters tend to talk about being ‘free thinkers’, but it’s obvious they haven’t examined their own actions during former president George W. Bush’s terms in office. How much hate and vile have we continued to hear since he left office? Quite a lot. Although, it has died down a bit, it was much worse than anything I’ve heard about President Obama in the mainstream media.

There will always be extremists on both sides, but most of the critics’ views I’ve read and heard, regarding President Obama, have been well thought out and make sense. If you actually examine their words, you can see they are basing their views on principles and not President Obama’s skin color. On the other side, you have people that call white people racist for disagreeing with him. (You don’t hear any other race being called racist for criticizing President Obama on the same things).

I wish President Obama the best, however I do not agree with his policies and apparently, that makes me a racist. What’s interesting about this is: I am judged by the color of his skin.

What does that say? It says that many people are exploiting President Obama’s skin color to stop the free thinking and views of those that disagree with their own. If you used their thinking as a constant, then doesn’t that mean they are and were racist against former president George W. Bush?

If so, we have a bunch or weird white people racist against white people.
